Taupo continues to develop new accommodation and conference venues with 24 facilities now catering for this market. The venues attract a good client-base from New Zealand's corporate market and are able to hold large conferences, intimate meetings and top class incentive weekends. Ten conference venues are located in the town, of which three have conference rooms capable of hosting 700-1000 people. The Turangi and Ruapehu region has a further six conference venues.
