Situated within seven hectares of park-like grounds, Huka Lodge offers 20 Lodge Rooms as well as the exclusive Owner’s Cottage with its four luxurious rooms. All just metres from the hypnotic waters of the Waikato River. Secluded and offering every comfort – from mini-bar to walk-in dressing rooms. The rooms are spacious, light and very peaceful and all enjoying wooden, outdoor terraces.
The magnificent bathrooms look into private native gardens and all have under-floor heating. Sunken baths are all complemented by separate showers and double hand basins.
Conference Facilities
The Trophy Room has been created for small conferences and business meetings for up to 20 people. A series of specially designed leather-topped ‘card’ tables may be joined for conferences or dining, or used separately for smaller working groups. A separate lounging area provides a change of scene during breaks from the business on hand.
Restaurant Facilities
Private dining is available in the Wine Cellar, the Trophy Room, the main Dining Room and in some of the most unique and truly romantic venues imaginable. A superb five-course dinner and a full country breakfast is included in the tariff and lunches are available on request.
Other Information / Facilities
Within the established grounds there is a tennis court, petanque and croquet as well as swimming pool and two heated spa pools. Massages and facials are also available. There are a wonderful variety of activities and recreational opportunities in the area and Huka Lodge works closely with hand-picked operators to ensure guests have the best possible local knowledge.There is golf, trout fishing, kayaking, horse riding, kayaking, mountain biking, guided walks, white water rafting and many more activities.
