Formula Challenge is an approved Motorsport New Zealand Motor Racing School and whatever your skill level, the cars can be driven by novices in complete safety. For those after double the thrills try our Ultimate Driving Exclusive this is a rare opportunity to actually race a V8 on a professional track. See the world through the eyes of a championship driver in a full-on session that includes pre-drive tuition, and some furious laps behind the wheel of a race modified V8, then it's time for some Formula style kicks as you discover the high speed thrills of single seater racing. Fly at speeds of up 140kph as you accelerate around the track. Discover the excellent power to weight ratio of single seater racing as you learn the secrets and theory of championship driving. Or if driving is not your thing Formula Challenge offers both V8 and Porsche HotLaps.

The Taupo Motorsport Park is located on the corner of Centennial Drive and Broadland’s Road, Taupo. Formula Challenge’s new facility can be found on the East side of the Motorsport Park and is easiest to access from Broadland’s Road.
