Plateau is the hottest bar and restaurant in Taupo. It is a contemporary and stylish choice for your conference venue and the perfect location for catching up with friends and colleagues at the bar or in the restaurant.

The menu is inspired by New Zealand’s freshest and finest ingredients and is accompanied by the full range of Monteith’s Craft Beers and an extensive wine list. The décor features natural materials of New Zealand, from pumice to leather and the music is godzone’s. Plateau offers you a warm, friendly experience of New Zealand excellence. 

Conference Facilities

Plateau has a purpose designed conference room available for private dining, business meetings, conferences and cocktail functions. This room can accommodate up to 30 for a sit down dinner, or up to 70 for cocktail functions. Larger dining groups can book the entire restaurant for up to 50 people (normal bar activity will continue in this case). Lastly, for large conferences or groups of 90 to 160 people, Plateau can be booked out privately. Menu options, bookings and other individual requirements can be discussed directly with management.
