'Champions New Zealand Winners' - Jessie Casson

Taupo Museum. Photographer Jessie Casson set off on a journey around New Zealand seeking out people with a story to tell and a passion to share. The portraits are the fruit of Jessie's desire to capture the dedication, self-belief and good old kiwi ‘can-do’ attitudes that make New Zealanders who they are.

Blues Festival from 2pm till 8pm at Omori Estate Winery. With Midge Marsden, The Jukes, The Mike Garner Trio, plus guest appearance from US singer/songwriter Laurie Dameron. Bring a picnic and enjoy an afternoon/evening of great blues music. Food will be available for purchase at the venue.

Taupo Museum. A community exhibition inspired by a strong sense of place. Situated at the head of the lake and nestled under Mount Pihanga, Turangi is a town with a huge range of landscapes at its doorstep. The wide range of artwork in this exhibition reflects the diversity of the group as well as the diversity of the surrounding environment.
MotoTT Motorcycle Track Day

MotoTT hold regular Motorcycle track days at Taupo Motorsport Park. These track days are a fun, non competitive environment to improve your bike handling and riding skills. Go as fast or slow as you like with no cars (or police) to worry about. Riders are given sessions catering for experts through to trackday first timers and novice riders.

The North Island's most popular trail ride series will be held at the South side of SH5, Te Toke Road. Around 500 riders will enjoy the big berms on the flowing graded trails, free draining soil, mega traction, great parking, awesome kids tracks, hot food and espresso coffee.
